Stephen Block is a founding partner and the current owner of the Lidov And Block Law Firm.
In 1979 Mr. Block graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Degree in Business Administration from the University Of Miami. Mr. Block went on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree from the University Of Miami School of Law in 1982.
Over the last 27 years Mr. Block has handled thousands of personal injury claims resulting in combined verdicts and settlements in the millions of dollars. His firm represents multiple generations of the same families that have come to recognize and appreciate his extensive knowledge, expertise and years of diverse experience. Mr. Block’s practice is concentrated in the areas of Motor Vehicle Accidents, Worker’s Compensation, Premises Liability, Medical Malpractice and Catastrophic Injuries including brain injuries, burn injuries, neck and spine injuries and vision loss. He has established himself as an aggressive and innovative litigator. His heartfelt compassion for his injured clients is demonstrated by the passion with which he advocates for their causes. Mr. Block has been married for over 28 years and has twin daughters currently attending medical school.

DONOVAN S. FECHNER ESQ.
Donovan S. Fechner received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee in 1990. He received his Juris Doctorate at the Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1994 where he graduated with honors.
Mr. Fechner's practice has concentrated in the areas of workers’ compensation, personal injury motor vehicle accidents, premises liability (slip/trip and fall), wrongful death, medical malpractice and dram shop litigation. He has established himself as an aggressive and innovative litigator with experience on behalf of both plaintiffs/petitioners and defendants/respondents. Having practiced representing employers and insurance companies in workers' compensation matters, he has acquired extensive knowledge as to how insurance companies handle workers' compensation and personal injury issues and now uses this information to fight for what is right for the injured person.
Mr. Fechner has experience as lead counsel for both bench and jury trials throughout the State as well as considerable arbitration practice. He has litigated a wide variety of workers’ compensation matters in the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission throughout the state. His civil appellate experience includes the reported decision of Glover v. Barbosa, 344 Ill. App. 3d 58 (1st Dist. 2003).
Whether the injury suffered is minor, major or catastrophic, Mr. Fechner gives each case his undivided attention and service. He knows the playing field is not level and that insurance companies have high priced lawyers at their service, whose main interest is minimizing or eliminating an injury victim’s fair and just compensation for an injury sustained.
